Settings Navigation

The Settings section provides access to all configuration options for your account. Settings are organized into logical categories accessible from the main navigation menu.

Accessing Settings

Navigate to System → Settings in the main sidebar to access all settings pages.

Settings Categories

Branding

Location: System → Settings → Branding
Path: /settings/branding

The Branding settings page contains three sub-tabs for comprehensive brand configuration:

Branding Tab

Configure your company's visual identity:

  • Company logo
  • Brand colors (primary color)
  • Company name
  • Company phone number
  • Company website

Configure short domain replacement and trackable shortlinks:

  • Add custom short domains
  • Configure DNS settings
  • Generate SSL certificates
  • Set up long domain mappings
  • Enable/disable shortlink tracking
  • Configure UTM parameters

Chat Widget Tab

Customize your live chat widget:

  • Widget appearance (theme, position)
  • Primary color
  • Greeting messages
  • Avatar URL
  • Show/hide branding
  • Widget token generation
  • Embed code snippet
  • Allowed domains for widget

Note: The Chat Widget settings are now located within the Branding section as a sub-tab, not as a separate settings page.

Email

Location: System → Settings → Email
Path: /settings/email

Configure email settings:

  • Email domains
  • SMTP configuration
  • Email templates
  • Email workflows

Calendar

Location: System → Settings → Calendar
Path: /settings/calendar

Set up calendar integrations:

  • Calendly integration
  • Appointment booking
  • Calendar sync settings

BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)

Location: System → Settings → BYOK
Path: /settings/byok
Availability: Only visible if BYOK is enabled for your account

Configure your own API keys:

  • OpenAI API keys
  • Key management and rotation

Note: BYOK is an optional add-on feature. If you don't see this option, contact support to enable BYOK for your account.

PII & Privacy

Location: System → Settings → PII & Privacy
Path: /settings/pii

Configure privacy and data protection:

  • PII handling settings
  • Data retention policies
  • Privacy controls
  • Compliance settings

Profile

Location: System → Settings → Profile
Path: /profile

Manage your user profile and security settings:

  • Profile Information: Update name and email address
  • Password Management: Change password with strength requirements (12+ characters, complexity)
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Enable/disable MFA with TOTP (authenticator app) or SMS
  • Backup Codes: View and regenerate MFA backup codes
  • Security Recommendations: Admin users see recommendations to enable MFA

Security Features:

  • Password strength meter helps ensure secure passwords
  • MFA enrollment with QR code for authenticator apps
  • SMS MFA with phone number verification
  • One-time backup codes for account recovery

Preferences

Location: System → Settings → Preferences
Path: /settings/preferences

Set your account preferences:

  • Keyboard shortcuts
  • Display preferences
  • Notification preferences (includes all notification settings)
  • User interface settings

Note: Notification settings have been consolidated into Preferences. The /settings/notifications path redirects to /settings/preferences.

Additional Settings

AI Configuration (Assistants)

Location: AI Assistant → Assistants
Path: /assistants

Configure your AI assistants' behavior:

  • Create and manage multiple assistants
  • System prompts and personality
  • LLM provider and model selection
  • Voice selection
  • Temperature settings
  • Channel-specific defaults
  • Assistant routing

Note: The old /settings/ai path redirects to /assistants. AI configuration is now managed through the Assistants system.

Messaging Directives

Location: AI Assistant → Messaging Directives
Path: /messaging

Configure AI behavior across all channels:

  • Central directives (apply to all channels)
  • Channel-specific directives (Chat, Email, SMS)

Qualification Settings

Location: Qualification Settings (in sidebar)
Path: /qualification-settings

Configure lead qualification criteria:

  • Create qualification rules
  • Set required keywords
  • Configure disqualification keywords
  • Set minimum message counts
  • Require contact fields (email, phone, company)
  • Configure AI-based qualification
  • Set qualification score thresholds
  • Manage notification preferences for qualified/unqualified leads

This feature controls when leads are marked as qualified and can trigger notifications and CRM syncs.

Usage & Billing

Location: System → Settings → Usage & Billing
Path: /billing

View and manage:

  • Usage statistics
  • Billing information
  • Subscription details
  • Payment methods

SMS Workflows

Location: System → Settings → SMS Workflows
Path: /sms-workflows

Create and manage SMS automation workflows.

Email Workflows

Location: System → Settings → Email Workflows
Path: /email-workflows

Create and manage email automation workflows.

  • Direct Access: All settings pages can be accessed directly via their URL paths
  • Breadcrumbs: Use browser back button or navigation menu to return to previous pages
  • Search: Use the search functionality in the navigation to quickly find settings
  • Help Tooltips: Look for (?) icons throughout settings pages for contextual help

Settings Organization

Settings are organized by function rather than by technical category:

  • Branding & Appearance: Visual identity, shortlinks, and widget customization (all in Branding section)
  • AI & Automation: Assistants, messaging directives, routing rules, handoff settings, and workflows
  • Channels: Email, SMS, Chat, and Calendar settings
  • Security & Privacy: Profile security (MFA, passwords), BYOK, PII handling, and privacy controls
  • Account Management: Profile information, preferences (including notifications), billing, and user management
  • Lead Management: Qualification settings for defining and managing lead qualification criteria

This organization makes it easier to find the settings you need based on what you want to accomplish.

Note: The old AI Configuration page (/settings/ai) has been replaced with the Assistants system (/assistants). See Assistants Overview for the new approach to AI configuration.
